Taffy Apple Salad
1 Large can pineapple chunks, in heavy syrup. (Sometimes I cut pieces smaller)
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. Flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. White vinegar
1 (8oz) cool whip
2 cups diced red and green apples, skin left on (I use 2 small to medium apples of each)
1 egg beaten
1 1/2-Cup Planter cocktail peanuts in the blue can, (I use the whole can)
Step A: Drain the pineapple chunks reserving the liquid.
Step B: Mix drained pineapple with marshmallows. (Refrigerate over night)
Step C: Cook reserved liquid, flour, sugar, vinegar and egg until thick. (Refrigerate over night).
Next day: combine cool whip with steps B, C, add peanuts and apples, mix well.
